I had the pleasure of visiting Dreams Onyx Resort in Punta Cana in May 2024, accompanied by my husband. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family-friendly property, which offers a range of amenities to suit both families and adults. We opted for an upgrade to the Preferred Club, which provided access to an exclusive adult-only pool and additional dining options, enhancing our overall experience.
The beach at Dreams Onyx was exceptional long, walk able, and vibrant. Although it was quite busy, we appreciated the opportunity to take a morning stroll each day. The service in the Preferred section of the beach was outstanding, further elevating the experience.
The entertainment offerings were well-curated, catering to both adults and children alike, making it an ideal option for families.
The dining experience at Dreams Onyx was equally impressive. We explored all of the on-site restaurants, with the exception of the French restaurant due to time constraints, and found each to be of high quality. There was not a single restaurant we wouldn't revisit.
Additionally, the neighboring Breathless Punta Cana Resort offers a lively atmosphere and is accessible to adults staying at Dreams Onyx, providing a great option for those seeking a more upbeat, energetic environment.
I highly recommend Dreams Onyx for both families and adults. For adult-only groups, I would suggest upgrading to the Preferred Club to enjoy the exclusive adult-only pool, offering a more tranquil retreat away from the family areas.
